Monday is Roger Daltrey’s 66th Birthday. To celebrate, we’re gonna play side one of The Who’s Soundtrack for The Kids Are Alright.
The album came out in the summer of ‘79 and featured a few performances that didn’t actually come from the shows in the movie, including their appearance on The Smothers Brothers show in ‘67, which kicks it off.
- My Generation (Smothers Bros, 1967)
- I Can’t Explain (Shindig!, 1965)
- Happy Jack (Live At Leeds, 1970)
- I Can See For Miles (Smothers Bros, 1967)
- Magic Bus (German TV, 1968)
- Long Live Rock (London Studio, 1972)
