AC/DC are back in stores today with what could be called their first greatest hits collection. AC/DC: Iron Man Two is available in four formats — a CD, a CD/DVD Deluxe Combo, a CD/DVD Collector’s Edition and a double vinyl set. Each features 15 songs selected from 10 of the band’s studio albums recorded between 1976 and 2008, including “Highway to Hell,” “Back in Black,” “Let There Be Rock” and “Shoot to Thrill.” The Collector’s and Deluxe editions include more than 50 minutes of video and scenes from the film. The Collector’s edition also includes a limited-edition re-print of 1968’s first issue of The Invincible Iron Man comic book, with a variant front cover featuring AC/DC. It also comes with a 32-page hardcover book, a poster and stickers. Iron Man Two opens in theaters on May 7th. Audio (7) Angus Young on the consistency of AC/DC’s sound…
After leaving the hospital last week, Poison singer Bret Michaels is recovering at an undisclosed private care facility specializing in the rehabilitation of diabetic patients. He underwent an emergency appendectomy last week in San Antonio, Texas. As a result, he’s postponed his shows through Saturday in Florence, Indiana. Michaels is scheduled to resume his tour on April 28th in Quincy, Illinois.
Meat Loaf writes on Twitter that the volcano eruption is not interfering with his promotional tour through Europe.
