Bret Michaels is walking, his sister Michelle Sychak said in a radio interview yesterday. Although he remains in intensive care since suffering a brain hemorrhage more than a week ago, Bret’s sister said he “was definitely doing better — he was kind of getting up and started to walk a bit.” His doctors will hold a press conference today with more details on his progress.
Robert Plant was supposed to be working on a follow-up to his Grammy-winning album with Alison Krauss, Raising Sand, but that seems to have been put on the backburner. In an interview on a U.K. T.V. show, Plant says, “We go dancing together, but she’s gone back to her old band, back to the bluegrass stuff, and I’m with another band now in Nashville.”
Roger Waters will be on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon tomorrow night.
Speaking of late night…Max Weinberg will reportedly not be back in the bandleader role when Conan O’Brien starts his new late-night show in the fall, that according to Al Kooper whose band includes members of Conan’s band.
