SILVER SPRING SHORES — Shoes worth approximately $2,000 were reported stolen from a residence on Palm Road shortly early Wednesday.
The homeowner told a sheriff’s deputy he was sitting in the garage when he heard someone inside and thought it was his father in the kitchen.
The man said that when he went in his bedroom, he noticed his Nikes, Air Jordans and boots were missing.
The man’s father told the deputy he was in bed asleep when his son woke him up saying someone had stolen his shoes.
The deputy said there were electronics and checkbooks in the residence, which were untouched.

Police: Teens crash SUV into home
SILVER SPRINGS SHORES — Sheriff’s deputies arrested two teenage brothers Wednesday after it was alleged that they crashed a stolen SUV into a vacant home. They also arrested a third teen. All of them faces charges of grand theft and burglary.
